Welcome to My Virtual University. Of all the sweeping changes taking place in response to the maturation of the Internet, Online Learning is having a massive effect on the progress of the world. My Virtual University tracks education as it migrates to the Internet re: distance learning and online learning – with virtual university articles, virtual university videos, and conversations you can join in about online learning in general.

This short clip shows some of the latest stages of develoment of the 3D virtual school. This develoment is part of a 6 week GTCW funded sabbatical professional development placement for John Whittaker at Gaia Technologies, Bangor, Gwynedd, North Wales. During this project the virtual Opensim school has been built onto its server with MySQL , Ogre and Python scripts and 3D modelling enabled through RealXtend.
Bronwen is an e-learning luminary. She has been working on ICT and education in Africa for over 5 years – beginning in Ghana’s Volta region where she was made Queen Mother in recognition of her efforts to support education. Bronwen is currently Managing Director Social Enterprise for Fusion Universal, a learning solutions company based in London, UK. Fusion’s 2020 Vision is to help improve the lives of 1 billion young people in developing countries through technology enabled education.
